Frequently asked questions
If your question is not here, ask us and we will answer it.
- What age is QuestSchool for?
- Early-elementary children, roughly ages 4 to 9. The youngest end is picture-and-sound games that need no reading; the oldest end covers times tables, comprehension, grammar and geography. Each game resumes at the level the child last reached.
- What devices does it work on?
- Any modern browser on a tablet, laptop, Chromebook or desktop. There is nothing to install and no app store. A child can only sign in on a device a parent has approved first.
- How many children can I add?
- As many as you like. You pay one price per child and can add or remove children at any time. You can also add more than one adult - a second parent, a grandparent or a teacher - each with their own sign-in.
- What happens if I cancel?
- You cancel from your account, in a couple of clicks, without emailing anyone. Your children keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Do you sell my child's data?
- No. We do not sell it, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to train anything. There are no advertising or analytics trackers on the pages your child sees.
- Do you use AI?
- There is no AI chatbot in QuestSchool, and nothing in the product generates text or images for your child. Every question was written by a person before it shipped. Your child is never in an open-ended conversation with a machine.
- Does it adapt to my child?
- Partly, and we would rather be precise about it. QuestSchool tracks mastery per child per skill area, and each game resumes at the level that child reached rather than restarting. It does not yet reorder the curriculum around a child's weak spots - when that ships we will say so here.
- Can my child talk to other children?
- No. There is no chat, no messaging, no multiplayer and no user-generated content of any kind. There is nobody for your child to meet in QuestSchool.
